Brandon was a 2002 graduate of Middletown High School who played sports, hung out with his friends, was a good student and popular kid at Middletown High.

Brandon was the kind of person who could make friends with anyone, he had a personality that could light up a room and make everyone laugh. He shined out amongst others and everyone loved him for that. Brandon was the type of young man that did not let anything hold him back from his goals, his actions definitely spoke louder than his words. He was determined in life to have a good time in whatever he was doing. He could and would make a joke out of anything and everything. Brandon was hard working and determine. He was active in baseball, softball, fishing, golf, fixing and restoring cars. He was pursuing his education at Central Conn. State University. Brandon was a warm hearted, fun loving person who made everyone’s life a bit brighter. Brandon was an amazing individual and to his friends and family is irreplaceable in all of our hearts.

Brandon was a well-known resident of Middletown, Connecticut whose life was taken at the age of 19, in a motorcycle accident, on Oct 7, 2004.

Family and friends of Brandon came together to establish the scholarship fund to help students with the transition from high school to college by providing much needed funds for books and other expenses.

The Brandon Reeve Memorial Scholarship is given to a college bound Middletown High School Senior in memory of Brandon Reeve. The criteria for the scholarship is that the student must be attending a two or four year college, involved in sports, grade point average 70 or above and, most importantly the scholarship will be given to a Middletown High School senior who is most like Brandon.

The Scholarship Fund is a way to honor Brandon’s memory by helping other young men and women to further their education.

The scholarship fund is a recognized nonprofit organization, all donations are tax deductible. It is our hope that The Brandon Reeve Memorial Scholarship Fund may continue to affect the lives of others and that Brandon’s legacy can live on.

The Brandon Reeve Memorial Golf Tournament was developed by Brandon’s brother Chris Reeve, as a way to raise money for the scholarship fund. The Brandon Reeve Memorial Golf Tournament is the major fund-raiser for the scholarship fund. The tournament brings everyone together to celebrate Brandon’s life.
