Brandon was a 2002 graduate of Middletown High School who played sports, hung out with his friends, was a good student and popular kid at Middletown High. Brandon was a well-known resident of Middletown, Connecticut whose life was taken at the age of 19, in a motorcycle accident, on Oct 7, 2004.

Family and friends of Brandon came together to establish the scholarship fund to help students with the transition from high school to college by providing much needed funds for books and other expenses.

The Brandon Reeve Memorial Scholarship is given to a college bound Middletown High School Senior in memory of Brandon Reeve. The criteria for the scholarship is that the student must be attending a two or four year college, involved in sports, grade point average 70 or above and, most importantly the scholarship will be given to a Middletown High School senior who is most like Brandon.

The Scholarship Fund is a way to honor Brandon’s memory by helping other young men and women to further their education.

The scholarship fund is a recognized nonprofit organization, all donations are tax deductible. It is our hope that The Brandon Reeve Memorial Scholarship Fund may continue to affect the lives of others and that Brandon’s legacy can live on.

The Brandon Reeve Memorial Golf Tournament was developed by Brandon’s brother Chris Reeve, as a way to raise money for the scholarship fund. The Brandon Reeve Memorial Golf Tournament is the major fund-raiser for the scholarship fund. The tournament brings everyone together to celebrate Brandon’s life.
